Jack J. Kelley, Chief Executive Officer and Director
Dr. Jack Kelley is Chief Executive Officer and Board Member of 3T Medical Complete Systems. Dr. Kelley has over 19 years of broad leadership experience in medical device and pharmaceutical drug delivery. Dr. Kelley has experience across a number of growth businesses and sectors key to healthcare commercialization and innovation, including small and large cap medical device and pharmaceutical drug delivery corporations, venture capital, investment banking, and life science research.
Dr. Kelley has worked at Medtronic, JP Morgan and Becton Dickinson. Prior to 3T Medical Complete Systems, he served as a Vice President of Unilife, an innovative drug delivery company with a proprietary prefillable syringe with retractable needle technology. Prior to Unilife, he served as the Worldwide Director, Strategic Marketing and Business Development at BD Pharmaceutical Systems, a leading supplier of conventional prefilled syringes. Dr. Kelley also served as Worldwide Director, Research and Development for BD Medical Surgical Systems, a leading supplier of acute care consumables. Prior to BD, Dr. Kelley was Manager, Ventures and Business Development for Medtronic Diabetes, a market and technology leader in insulin drug delivery, where he was responsible for the general medication infusion pump business development activities with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.
Prior to his industrial career, Dr. Kelley held a dual faculty appointment as a Research Assistant Professor at Dartmouth College in the Departments of Chemistry and Computer Science. Dr. Kelley has published patents and multiple peer reviewed journal articles on the biophysical characterization of proteins and DNA in solution. He holds a Doctorate in Biophysical Chemistry from Dartmouth College, an MBA from the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Marquette University.
Ron Frisbie, President and Chief Operating Officer
Ron is President and Chief Operating Officer of 3T Medical Complete. He is a strategic manufacturing operations and supply chain executive with a distinguished career as Executive VP Global Operations for both Fortune 100 manufacturing corporations and private equity portfolio firms spanning the medical device, automotive and oil & gas sectors. He is known for his lean manufacturing, new product introduction, value engineering and supply chain transformations to deliver cross-functional material cost reduction and streamlined operations.
Previously, Ron was Executive Vice President, Global Operations at CareFusion (acquired by Becton Dickinson), a $4B medical device manufacturer where he formed a global council that developed a strategy to deliver significant cost improvements over three years through lean transformation, footprint optimization, manufacturing productivity and sourcing improvements. In earlier roles, Ron was Global Vice President, Operations at Smiths Medical, a $1.5B medical device manufacturer where he led the turn-around of operations to deliver $100M in cost improvement over four years and an additional $100M in inventory reduction, which had a significant impact on the EBITDA and cash performance of the business; Senior Vice President, Manufacturing & Supply Chain at Vetco Gray (acquired by GE); Vice President, Implantable Manufacturing & Supply Chain at Medtronic; and had a 20+ year career with Ford Motor Company and Visteon Corporation, where in his last position as Global Director, Total Value Management, he was responsible for the total cost reduction process including value chain analysis, design change acceleration, benchmarking and customer interface for restructuring.
Ron received his M.B.A. from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, M.S.E. Mechanical Engineering also from the University of Michigan and B.S. Chemical Engineering form the Michigan State University.
Thomas Conzelmann, Chief Financial Officer
Tom is Chief Financial Officer of 3T Medical Complete. Tom has a deep financial management and business leadership background with a strong track record in helping businesses raise capital. He currently works as CFO for 3T Medical Complete Systems, a medical device manufacturer and product supply company.
Prior to 3T Medical Complete he was controller for Aquaro Histology, Inc., a medical device startup company, where he helped establish new accounting, budgeting and cash forecasting systems to help the company launch its product and prepare for growth. He also worked as a consultant for CytoPherx, Inc., an early stage medical device company, where he successfully helped the company raise $15 million to fund a clinical trial for its device. Prior to consulting for Cytopherx, Tom served as CFO of UniFi Equipment Finance, Inc. where he helped guide the company through a strategic growth period leading up to its acquisition by Bank of Ann Arbor. While there he raised over $100 million in capital in order to fund the company’s lease portfolio growth. Previously Tom was the assistant controller for TSM Leasing, Inc. helping to finance Domino’s Pizza franchisee growth, and prior to that he earned his CPA Certification while working for EY, formerly Ernst and Young.
Tom is a graduate of the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.
Mark Randall, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer
Mark is the Executive Vice President of Sales and leads the global sales organization for 3T Medical Complete. Mark has 30+ years of experience in leading medical device sales and marketing organizations. He has a strong history of developing winning organizational cultures, focusing on exceeding customer expectations, recruiting and training highly productive professionals, and leading with integrity.
Before joining 3T Medical Complete, Mark ran an independent distributorship, Zimmer-Randall Associates, which he managed for 25 years. During this time, he took a team of five sales associates and three operational staff and grew to a team of eight managers, eighty-five sales associates and forty-five operational staff. He created a culture that provided a way for the company to prosper and grow in sales during those years from $8 Million to $110 Million.
Mark started his career in medical device at American Hospital Supply for two and a half years and then eight years at Zimmer-Tichi Associates. He also spent two and a half years at Arthur Young & Company as an Auditor. Mark received his Bachelor’s in Accounting at Boston College.
Richard Bruder, General Counsel
Richard serves as the fixed fee General Counsel for 3T Medical Complete. Richard specializes in the needs of growing, entrepreneurial companies, including high potential entrepreneurs, angel investors, venture capitalists and second stage companies.
Richard has been practicing business law for 37 years, for the first 25 years at two prominent business law firms in the Detroit area, rising to the level of Senior Partner. While at these firms, Richard was a member of the corporate practice group primarily advising clients on corporate finance transactions as well as mergers and acquisitions activities. His specialty areas included traditional bank financing, mezzanine lending, venture capital, seed and start-up financing, mergers, stock and asset deals as well as leveraged recapitalizations of family-owned businesses.
In addition to 3T Medical Complete, Richard also serves as a Partner at the Kemp Klein Law Firm. Prior to joining the Kemp Klein Law Firm, Richard founded and for 7 years served as managing partner of his own law firm, Enterprise Law Partners, PLLC.
Richard received his law degree and his Masters in Taxation from Wayne State University Law School and his Bachelor’s in Economics at the University of Michigan.
Russ Davies, Interim Head of RAQA
Russ leads the Regulatory Affairs and Quality Systems functions for 3T Medical Complete. He is a leading expert in the field of global regulatory affairs and quality systems in the medical device industry.
Russ has provided leadership in the implementation of several quality and regulatory management systems to meet European, US and global medical device regulatory requirements, and driven enterprise wide quality and regulatory improvement initiatives.
Russ is a mechanical engineer by training, and holds an MBA from the Open Business School in the UK.
